Lincoln
Academy is dedicated to the education of the whole student. Intellectual growth,
academic mastery, skill development, the fine arts, foreign language, career
education, athletics, school and community service, self-esteem and aspirations,
respect for others, working in cooperation with others are all important parts
of the Lincoln Academy experience for all students.
Lincoln Academy is a small, independent
secondary school located in
Newcastle, Maine. Chartered in
1801, the school
serves 17 towns in the
Lincoln County area of Midcoast Maine. The school is accredited by the
New England Association of Schools and Colleges and is a member of several
secondary school associations, including the following:
